Bibi was the beginning of my love for and now my complete passion for the breed. I met her in Germany when judging a different breed there. She came to live here some 4 months later, and will always be an important part of my life. I owe a big thank you to Gunther Heroz for letting me have her. Soon Bibi will be able to compete at Veteran level!

Marcus has enjoyed a good showing career, winning well at both Open and Championship Show level.

He has the most soft temperament – enjoying everyone as his friend – four legged or two. He made it obvious that he much preferred to be at home than going to Shows – as he did not travel very well, so he now shares his time with whoever is around happy in the knowledge that he is not going to be asked to do that ‘one more journey’.

Dogs have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. My interest in Petit Basset Griffon Vendeens started nearly ten years ago. I loved watching their outgoing characters, full of fun and greeting everyone as a friend. Whilst judging in Germany, I met my first litter. I was completely won over. My host Gunther Heroz, saw how much I loved them, and a few months later Bibi was sent over for me. She is such a lovely girl and was the perfect gift. I owe so much to Gunther. Since then I have become smitten. I have shown regularly and bred a few litters. I hope that you will find something of interest in the pages of this site and if you read 'About Gemshorn' you will see how my prefix came about....
